Ruby Poole
I’ve lived on Straddie for 10 years and have enjoyed making art all my life. I am inspired by all the beautiful people I meet and like to use bright colour in my work. People have always been my favourite subject matter and I love to see each person come to life in my artwork.
Kieron Anderson
Kieron Boona Anderson is a direct descendant of the Ngugi people of Mulgumpin (Moreton Island). I paint landscapes and portraits. Images beckon me - they pop out and beg for paint. The phone camera is my constant companion. I scroll my images looking for the one that pops out, sometimes only a fraction of the whole image.
Jane Milburn OAM

Wendy Bailye
I work fulltime as a feltmaker and textile artist. Minjerribah is a place of infinite inspiration for me. It is where I come to recharge, get some soul food, commune deeply, and create.
Steve Barwell
Artist and state of affairs commentator:
“The more interesting the work the more disreputable it is.
Defaming reality is the best way of achieving grandeur of delusion.”
Elizabeth Borey
‘Gindi’ in my Jandi language means something good. I put a lot of love, time and effort into the making process to create a small handmade treasure for you, a memento of my beautiful island home.
