Wendy Bailye
iam: a feltmaker and textile artist
I work fulltime as a feltmaker and textile artist. Minjerribah is a place of infinite inspiration for me. It is where I come to recharge, get some soul food, commune deeply, and create.
Here I find balance and harmony and artistic inspiration. I have been visiting the Island now for over 30 years. We have a beach house at Point Lookout with friends.
I work primarily with handmade felt but also make jewellery, explore printmaking, collage and textile collage in particular. I also dabble in photography and digital imaging. My work is unique and texture rich. I love the infinite patterns and textures of nature.
