Jess Scott

iam: an artist and textile designer and manufacturer

Drawing from my connection to the natural environment, my creative process for textile design begins with the observation of patterns in the world around us—drawing inspiration from the ever-changing canvas of sand and sea, whether it's the sway of leaves in the trees or the intricate textures of coral reefs. These observations come to life in the studio, where pen, ink, and graphite give form to my visions, capturing the essence of Stradbroke's dramatic landscapes and serene seascapes.

I ensure that every aspect of my work that is manufactured, from conception to production, is done right here in Australia, and my products are Licenced Australian Made.

I also love to paint and draw landscapes and still life, embroider and sew in my own 'Sweat Shop" - no medium is off limits for me in the studio. Kids and Adults art classes are available at the studio throughout the year.
