iam: a ceramic artist

I am a ceramicist working with both hand-building and wheel throwing. My work centres on functional forms - pieces made to be used and enjoyed every day - but I like to add a touch of whimsy so that each object carries a sense of personality and play.

Colour is important to me. I'm inspired by both vibrant and subtle palettes and enjoy experimenting with glazes and surfaces to bring energy and warmth to my work. Whether it's a mug, bowl or sculptural vessel, I aim to create ceramics that are joyful and a little bit unexpected.
