A ritual in essence, taking the form of a gathering of participants listening to a live soundscape journey on the beach , then entering the ocean as the sunrise breaks over the horizon. Apart from the music performed by the sound artist before the actual entering of the sea, it is a silent event. No talking amongst the participants for the entire duration of the workshop. The aim is to curate an experience where the participant is able to unplug from ordinary reality and access and enter a meditative altered state of consciousness, feeling a deep communion with their natural surroundings, the ocean, the greater cosmos and themselves.
