iam: a potter

I’m a potter and have been working with clay for about 8 years since moving to Straddie. I love creating large, functional ceramics for everyday and entertainment use, focussing mainly on slab building with an informal, imperfect effect.

My style evolves continually and I aim to keep each piece unique with as much life as possible. My current work incorporates lace to introduce intricate patterns that help to soften clay textures while making pieces enjoyable to hold.
