Budla meaning two in Jandai (Quandamooka) & Malu meaning sea in Kala Lagaw Ya (Zenadth Kes). Owned & Operated by Zenadth Kes man of Boigu and Erub island, Jhavon Auda & Quandamooka woman, Mikayla-Haze Adams-Queary.
Our work gives respect and reflects both of our cultures, languages and our island homelands, Zenadth Kes (Torres Strait Islands) and Minjerribah/Terrangerri (North Stradbroke Island).
Budla Malu is made on the stories told and taught to us by our old peoples and our families.
Ranging from handmade and hand gathered earrings, clothing, to hand printed screen prints and even cultural workshops and experiences.
