From early childhood creating art has had a place on the map of my journey in life. Spending time in nature brings a sense of wellbeing to me which is amplified as I step into my studio each day. I am free here to enter a personal playground, a place for taking risks, letting go of attachments, and trying out new things which is all part of the joy of creating.

My spirit laughs out loud at the freedom of breaking the rules and drawing outside the lines. I’m not sure who is in charge, me or my art. My process is intuitive, free and joyful. The materials I choose to employ on any given day lead the way.

My love of, interest in and lived experiences in travel influence my work, sometimes out loud, and sometimes in the quiet whispers of memory.Creating freely, with no rules, and just paying attention to a few basic principles encourages my inner rebel to play while the perfectionist is given time out. The result is a clear reflection of my heart and soul.
