Shara Delaney

Shara Delaney grew up on Quandamooka country listening to the stories of her Elders. Her paintings are a reflection of her connection to Quandamooka Country. Shara’s art practice is inspired by storytelling and the resilience and storytellers of her family.

Shara uses colour to form the bedrock of her artistic language. She applies pastels and bright colours, with the different hues of blue and green that reflects Quandamooka sea country because of her expression as a Quandamooka saltwater woman.
