iam: a jeweller and metalsmith
I am a contemporary jeweller and metalsmith. I create individually handcrafted pieces influenced by the changing colours, textures, light and sounds of the place where I live.

In my work I draw on the things I see and feel on my daily walks on this beautiful island. Images and ideas find their way into my work drawn from land formations, plants, animals and birds, the ebb and flow of the tides, marks left upon the environment, the feeling of the sand and wind.

I work mainly with silver, enamel and copper. I collect interesting bits and pieces from the beaches and the shapes and forms of these tiny things influence the designs on my bench. I enjoy playing with different techniques and learning new approaches to contemporary jewellery and metalsmithing to incorporate these into my work.
