iam: an embroiderer
My mother taught me to embroider when I was in primary school. I always think it was a way to make me sit still and yet keep me busy.

I have improved my skills over the years by attending fantastic workshops and have learnt many different forms of embroidery including Cross stitch, Wool embroidery, Stumpwork, Crewel, Elizabethan, Ribbon, Goldwork and Brazilian. I have been entering pieces into the Royal Brisbane Show for a number of years and in 2022 won Grand Champion in the Fine Arts and Craft section.

I am pleased to announce that all of the pieces that will be presented at the Arts Trail are all original pieces which I have had fun designing. I also have a number of self-designed Mosiac glass pieces that I have enjoyed piecing together and will take delight in displaying.
