iam: a creator
I call myself a creator, I am currently a sculptural potter and hand built artist of functional ware. I am visually inspired by nature and, in particular, where I live at amity (Pulan Pulan).

My sculptural pieces are created out of and inspired by found fishing line off the beach, hooked around the fallen trees. Starting with a hand built vessel contrasted with found fishing line or objects - both together symbolising beauty out of the mess our world is in.

My functional wear is inspired by the odd, worn down, not so perfect world. I create always by feel, heart and integrity. My creativity stems from a process call ‘ Wabi-sabi’ the Japanese art of finding beauty in imperfections.
