Art trails preserve and celebrate regional cultural heritage as well as foster a sense of identity and pride within communities. Three such trails blossoming in Southern Qld include the inaugural 'Arts in the Valley' creative weekend in the Lockyer Valley; The Tamborine Mountain Arts Trail, now in its second year; and the the iam Straddie Arts Trail, now in its third year. The Trails and Tribulations: connecting regional cultural destinations is a panel discussion hosted by Southern Qld Regional Arts Service Network to share the success stories and challenges of these three regional arts and cultural offerings.

It is an event for arts workers, artists, curators, gallerists, and tourism workers to cultivate an environment of collaboration, support, inspiration, and innovation.
