Get Ready, Straddie!
Grab your mates and plan a night celebrating Aussie mateship at its best — we’re hosting a special rooftop screening of Spit.
Thursday 23 October | 5.30pm
This cracking sequel to the 2003 crime-comedy classic ‘Gettin’ Square’ sees writer Chris Nyst back at it again — and he’s joining us in person for a lively Q&A with our very own island creative and “Spit” film producer Trish Lake.
Expect yarns, laughs, and a few cheeky stories about our local island larrikins, and maybe a meat tray raffle or two.
Movie with a pizza and cold one available for a neat 40 buckaroonies per person from our mates at Straddie Brewing Co. It’s set to be a top night under the stars.
Don’t miss out! Seats are limited. One night only.
Proceeds for this event go to our mates Wildlife Rescue Minjerribah
