Introduction to Linocut Printing - Saturday 31st August, 10am-12pm

In this two hour workshop, you will discover basic linocut printing skills led by artist Mahala Burns.

As a special treat, renowned linocut artist Alick Tipoti will also make an appearance.

Mahala is a self-taught lino print artist who explores the natural world through plants and animals in her carvings.

During this workshop you will design your own stamp with your chosen design and learn how to carve your stamp to get the desired detail. This will eventually be printed on to your choice of a cotton tea towel or tote bag for you to take home.

No prior skills are required.
